| My
sculptures are constructed upon existing architectural elements
to establish a connection with the surrounding space. The works
deteriorate due to environmental conditions or human neglect.
My goal is to generate a contrast between the permanence of
architecture and the impermanence of an art piece: in every
act of appearance, lies the threat of disappearance. My process
involves reaching and gathering, as gestures that turn traditionally
autonomous art forms into relative and fragile processes. |
